About Me: The Spanish side

My dad served a mission in Argentina. So he speaks Spanish. He teaches me Spanish sometimes, and I do Spanish in school, so I might be a brain about Spanish. Arizona is sort of a Mexican state, and I think Spanish is fun in a way. My teacher's husband speaks Spanish. I am talking about my schoolteacher, in fact. I love Spanish in a way, but I don't know what way. I LOVE SPANISH! I hope I serve a mission in a Spanish country. Night Owl thinks I should serve a mission in Russia. No, thank you! But maybe I would.......I think I might. The same thing happened with me and baptism. A few months ago, I was scared of getting baptised. But now, I am completely so off-the-wall about being baptised, confirmed a member of the church, and receiving the Holy Ghost. I am so happy with my life that my heart might burst. I'll have to do a blog post every day. I am very behind in blogging. Goodbye to all of you.

K12's Pancake Breakfast

Yesterday we went to a pancake breakfast at Golden Corral in Casa Grande and it was very yummy. The french toast they had there was yummy. The french toast they had there had cinnamon on the bottom! Tasty!!! And there was also chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, donuts (I do love donuts a lot, don't you?), cottage cheese, and lots of fruit. The french toast was very sweetish, I think. Night Owl even liked it as well...she doesn't usually like Golden Corral. My siblings loved it! Here's some pictures Night Owl took of us eating our wonderful pancake breakfast...

So, we had a happy breakfast yesterday. Don't blame me, things get better as you get older...I loved that breakfast! You would have loved it... I think your kids would have have liked it too, as long as you don't get bored on the ride to Casa Grande...but the ride's worth it. Goodbye to all of you that have read this post.

About Me: The Russian Side

So, my parents got me from Russia. People might guess that I'm a plain American! Anyway, I'm half-Russian, half-American, and I guess I would be a European, but I act like I'm a true American. Night Owl (that's my mom) has this video (or tape, whatever) that's a part of the One Hundred and One Dalmatians movie and it's all in Russian. Check it out! I was adopted and already had a name and they liked my name so much that I got to keep my Russian name. I like it as well. I would not like a name like Sarah, or Amanda, or Beth. My name is so one-of-a -kind, so out of this world. I LOVE MY NAME!

Me and Art

I LIKE ART! Art's what most people like in their life. I really like to paint, but clay is a fine thing for artists to use as well. I like the way some paintings look so real that you think that you can walk into them but they aren't really real after all. It gives me a really funny feeling. Here's a question: If you were on a quest that you had to finish in three days and you found some paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, would you stop to examine them or just hurry and keep searching for what ever you needed to search for? Just remember, I LIKE ART!

Night Owl's Concert

My mom had a concert in the past month. I attended with my father and my grandmother and she had invited a friend along for the occasion. The concert was on Sep. 11, 2010. WHAT OTHER YEAR WOULD IT BE?!?! I was not falling asleep in it, because it was very loud almost all the time. I completely collapsed when I had to go to bed. But, before I went to bed, my grandparents came over to have some dessert. I had an apple soda float with way too many chocolate syrup in it. I LOVED THAT NIGHT! HOW COULD I FORGET THAT NIGHT!!!!

My confrence feelings and testimony

The way I watched conference last week: I plugged my family's laptop into the TV and fiddled around with some buttons on the TV remotes and on the TV, and got the laptop to play conference, and the TV too, so that's how I watched conference.

I'd like bear my testimony. I know the church is true. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know that prophets are called by God. I am so happy they put me in my family!!!! I LOVE MY LIFE! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Johann Sebastian Bach

Hello. This is Penguin coming to you live from Germany and the year here is 1785. Come with me and learn about the famous composer, Johann Sebastian Bach.

Johann is one of the greatest composers of all time and his life is very interesting. He was born on March 21, 1685 as the youngest of eight children in his family. Both of his parents died when he was ten years old, so he then went to live with his older brother who taught him to play the organ. Johann started school when he was 7 or 8 years old and he was a very good scholar.

Do you know that Bach was married two times? He was married first to his cousin and they had seven children together. After she died, he married again and had thirteen more children. Ten children died as infants, but four of his children became composers. Bach’s death is a sad story. His eyesight grew weak, so he had eye operations that made his eyes weaker. He died on July 28, 1750.

Bach had an interesting musical career. He learned to play a lot of instruments in his life. He played the viola, violin, organ, and harpsichord. He wrote compositions for a Duke and preformed in a orchestra. After Bach’s death, his works were forgotten until a composer named Felix Mendelssohn found and performed them.

Bach is such an outstanding composer. Join us tomorrow night at the downtown church for Bach’s next recital.
